Privacy Policy
Who we are
LONGEV CIRCLE is a longevity and wellness coaching service based in Basel, Switzerland. We act as the controller of the personal data described below and process it in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
Data we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, timezone); health and lifestyle data you choose to log (meals and food photos, water, steps, sleep, fasting, weight, body composition, HbA1c, insulin doses if applicable); plan activity completions; session bookings; lab result files uploaded by your care team; messages you send to the AI coach; device push-notification tokens.
How we use it
Solely to deliver your coaching programme: personalising your plan, showing your progress, sending reminders you opted into, enabling your coach and doctor to review your data, and generating AI coaching replies and food-photo nutrition estimates. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
AI processing
Food photos and coach chat messages are sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini, via our integration partner) only to generate a reply. AI responses are general wellness guidance, not medical advice.
Sharing
Only with your assigned coach and doctor, and with service providers that host our app, store files, send emails and push notifications, and run AI processing, each under confidentiality obligations.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your membership is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Delete my account, or by emailing us. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: all sessions are signed out, lab files are destroyed in storage, and your profile, logs, plan progress, coach conversations, bookings and assessments are erased. We keep only an anonymous deletion receipt (no name, email or health data) to demonstrate the deletion took place. If invoicing is introduced, invoices are retained for 10 years as required by Swiss law (CO Art. 958f).
Your rights
You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent for notifications at any time in Profile settings. Contact hello@longevcircle.com.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS, PINs are stored as salted hashes, repeated failed sign-ins are locked out, sessions expire after 30 days of inactivity and are revoked on PIN reset or account deletion, and lab files are accessible only to you and your care team with every download logged.
